Returns Policy

1. Right to Cancel & Returns Window

In accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, customers have a "cooling-off" period of 14 days from the date of delivery to notify us of their intent to return an item. Following this notification, the customer has a further 14 days to ensure the goods are returned to our designated UK return center.

2. Condition of Goods

To be eligible for a return, items must be in the original, unopened, and unused condition in which they were received.

  • All original packaging, labels, and protective seals must be intact.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a refund or apply a diminished value deduction if the goods show signs of handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and characteristics.

3. Return Shipping & Administrative Fees

For your convenience, My Book Nook will provide a pre-paid return shipping label for use within our UK return network. Please note the following financial conditions:

  • Deduction of Return Costs: The cost of the return shipping label will be deducted from your final refund amount.
  • Original Shipping Fees: Original shipping charges paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.
  • Unauthorized Returns: Items sent back to our international partners or any address other than our designated UK return center without prior authorisation will not be processed and may be forfeited.

4. The Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected at our UK facility, we will send an email notification regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved Refunds: Credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.
  • Processing Time: Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the transaction to be processed by your bank or card issuer.

5. Damaged or Defective Items

In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or defective, this must be reported to our support team within 48 hours of delivery with accompanying photographic evidence. Upon verification, we will arrange for a replacement or a full refund at no additional expense to the customer.
6. International Returns

For orders delivered outside of the United Kingdom, the customer is responsible for any customs duties or brokerage fees incurred during the return transit.
